About The Position

The Community Coach Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of the individuals we support, as well as ensuring they receive the services necessary to live meaningful lives. The role focuses on enhancing collaboration among team members and strengthening their ability to work effectively toward shared goals. This is achieved through strong communication, facilitating teamwork, and supporting ongoing growth and professional development. The Community Coach Supervisor is responsible for the management, supervision, and training of Community Connection Coaches, while incorporating KenCrest’s PRIDE values. This includes fostering a supportive work environment, applying reflective practice principles, and providing coaching, mentoring, and encouragement to help staff perform at their best and navigate challenging situations. This is a hybrid role. The Community Coach Supervisor is required to spend approximately 60% of their time in the field; coaching, mentoring, and training staff throughout Lower Montgomery and Bucks County. The candidate must also report to the office at 930 Harvest one day per week, typically every other Monday, to manage payroll responsibilities and complete administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with at least 3 years of supervisory experience, or Associate degree required with at least 5 years of supervisory experience
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
  • Ability to obtain acceptable criminal background and child abuse clearances in accordance with state requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Community-based IDD supervisory experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist supported individuals and Community Connection Coaches with implementing outcomes and action steps outlined in Individual Support Plans (ISPs)
  • Collaborate with the Personal Outcome Champion to monitor documentation and regularly review ISPs to ensure all authorized services are being delivered
  • Attend annual ISP meetings
  • Supervise and monitor services for assigned caseloads
  • Develop staff schedules and work with individuals and their families to align schedules with their needs
  • Review and approve staff hours and travel reimbursements
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring Community Connection Coaches
  • Develop performance improvement plans as needed
  • Facilitate and participate in quarterly staff meetings
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and, when necessary, provide direct support coverage
  • Other duties as assigned by Director
