The Salvation Army is seeking a Community Center Front Desk Receptionist for its Harbor Light location. This role is responsible for ensuring that activities and people using the Community Center feel welcome and are kept in a safe and organized environment. The receptionist will enforce facility policies and guidelines, greet and direct visitors, perform clerical duties, maintain cleanliness in the front entrance and desk area, answer phones promptly, and report any problems or discrepancies to the Community Center Director. The work environment may involve interacting with clients who exhibit challenging behaviors, and employees are expected to respond within the context of a church environment, maintaining appropriate conduct and interactions.
