Community Care Worker (Non Certified)
About The Position
We are looking for experienced and dedicated Domestic Assistance Community Support Worker to join our caring and dynamic team and provide high quality in-home domestic support services to our valued CHSP customers. For this role, you will need previous experience in Domestic Assistance/ Cleaning. We are also looking for someone who lives locally or willing to travel to Campbelltown & Camden area. About us: Across Australia Just Better Care provides in-home aged care and disability support services, supporting people to live independently. For over 15 years, we have been supporting older people, and people living with disability, to live independently in their own homes and stay connected to their local community. Requirements
- Previous experience in Domestic Assistance/ Cleaning
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance / Criminal Record Check
- Proof of Vaccination (where relevant) i.e. COVID-19 vaccination certificate
- Current First Aid certificate/CPR
- Current Australian Drivers License
- Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle
- Smart phone with internet access
- Caring, compassionate & friendly
- Good interpersonal skills & written/verbal communication skills
- Reliable & dependable
- Ability to build rapport & good working relationships
- Comfortable using technology (i.e. mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes/feedback
Nice To Haves
- Current Working with Children Check (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Social support/transportation for social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
- Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment
- Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
- Provide updates on customer progress following each service
