About The Position

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is seeking an I-FAST Community Behavioral Health Worker in Fairfield County, OH. ISBH is a community-minded, forward-thinking behavioral health organization dedicated to helping individuals on their road to health and well-being by meeting them in their homes and communities and connecting them to resources. Serving Southeastern and Central Ohio, ISBH offers a comprehensive array of behavioral health and other services, collaborating with local partners to promote healthy people and strong communities. The I-FAST Community Behavioral Health Worker collaborates with all involved to address the needs of youth and families experiencing a wide range of DSM diagnoses, including complex cases of children at risk for out-of-home placement. This role empowers families to address challenging behaviors and helps children/youth aged 5-21 make life-transforming changes through intensive interventions such as skill-building, changing unhelpful family interactions, and increasing social support. The role involves ongoing training in the Integrated Family and Systems Treatment (I-FAST) model while working with families, children/youth, their communities, and other key members of their ecology to implement I-FAST as designed. The pay range for this position is $19.00 to $22.26 per hour based on experience, education, and/or licensure.

Requirements

A high school degree or GED equivalent is required.
A bachelor's degree in healthcare, behavioral health or related field or three years of relevant experience is required.
2-3 years direct experience in healthcare, behavioral health or related field is preferred.
Experience with community services within various kinds of populations is required.
Experience working with multisystems such as: Court Systems, Child Protective Services, Schools, OhioRise, Family and Children First Council is required.
Experience working with complex family systems and youth who are experiencing severe emotional/mental health issues is preferred.
Experience with multi-need individuals and families is preferred.
Advanced communication skills, both oral and written is required.
Advanced organizational skills are required.
Ability to maintain confidential information is required.
Willing to participate in and lead cross-systems team-building activities.
Ability to bill Medicaid without restrictions is required.
A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle is required.
An appropriate level of auto insurance coverage is required.
Must be able to use a personal vehicle or company vehicle to provide services in homes, schools, and community settings.
Ability to manage deadlines within a fast-paced, high-volume environment is required.
Ability to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment is required.
Ability to maintain high-speed internet connection is required.

Responsibilities

Engage individuals and families in the home and community to identify strengths, barriers, and goals related to behavioral health and daily functioning.
Provide direct interventions using the I-FAST treatment model and principles, including leveraging strengths, focusing on the positive, understanding sequences of behavior, and increasing mature behavior.
Conduct a thorough assessment of the client and family, gathering information on behaviors of concern and strengths in the family and their ecology to inform conceptualization of the problem behaviors and interactions within the family’s ecological context.
Conduct treatment planning and participate in regular collaboration with members of the treatment team, including schools, courts, and the care management entity.
Provide care in home and community-based settings.
Continuously work to engage the primary caregiver, family members, supports, and community agency staff (school, probation, child welfare) in change-oriented treatment.
Dedicate time to weekly case planning and evaluation of case progress, with ongoing support from supervisor and team members.
Attend regular training, professional development, supervision, and consultation activities to acquire extensive clinical skills within the I-FAST treatment model.
Provide backup for team members as needed to ensure continuity of care and 24/7 coverage responsibilities.
Adhere to ISBH EHR Documentation policy.
Meet ISBH standards for productivity and quality of service delivery.
Utilize databases and Electronic Health Record systems for accurate client documentation.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA, mandated reporting requirements, and professional ethical guidelines.
Travel within designated service areas.
Perform other duties as assigned.
