About The Position

People Creating Success (PCS) is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as F.A.D.E. Associates. F.A.D.E. (Facilitating Alternative Day Environments) and C.I.T.P. (Community Integration Training Program) are community-based day services that assist adults with developmental disabilities in participating in the community and increasing their accessibility to the workforce. This role involves exploring communities, enriching passions, and making a positive impact in other people's lives. PCS has been a leader in providing services for adults with developmental disabilities for over 20 years, with a mission to help individuals achieve their career, educational, and life goals.

Requirements

Compassionate with a people-oriented mindset
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Responsible, and can assist in goal progress tracking
CPR / First Aid certification (Training will be provided if you’re not certified or need to be recertified)

Responsibilities

Support participants in volunteering & attending events, and exploring their community
Assist participants with transportation including their mobility aids such as wheel chairs (lifting to transfer participants will may be required)
Encourage and model independent living skills
Assist participants meet their goal through person-centered planning
Encourage participants to be physically active and engage in meaningful fun activities
Be a dependable positive impact in their day-to-day life
