About The Position

Michiana Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Community-Based Response Project Manager for our Intensive Outpatient Program. The Project Manager is responsible for supervising Peer Support Specialists who are responding to individuals in the community seeking support via Connect Marshall County app, and assisting with calls/requests as needed. Community members may be requesting information about resources, connection to health care providers, or supplies to reduce harm. Project Manager and Peer Support Specialists will work to build readiness to change and engage individuals in engage individuals in the surrounding community in a way that respects the person in their environment and serves to reduce stigma.

Requirements

  • LSW, LMHCa, LMFTa, or higher OR Certified Peer Support Professional (CPSP) or Certified Addiction Peer Recovery Coach (CAPRC l or CAPRC ll) required
  • Crisis Peer Certification preferred
  • Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

  • Supervise peers responding to requests from individuals in the community
  • Coordinate responses based on priority level if multiple requests are open
  • Maintain adequate supplies for peers to distribute at request
  • Engage with individuals requesting support through Connect Marshall County in a trauma-informed manner that allows for rapport building
