About The Position

Community-Based Mental Health Therapist (Child & Adult) at Associated Clinic of Psychology (ACP) in the Minneapolis-St Paul Metro Area. This full-time role supports youth ages 6-18 and adults in their homes and communities. It's an excellent opportunity for clinicians pursuing licensure (LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC) to gain relational hours in a supportive, diverse, and dynamic environment. ACP's mission is to support youth mental health in the Twin Cities by meeting clients where they are, building skills, improving family dynamics, and fostering productive participation.

Requirements

Master’s or graduate degree in psychology, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or related fields from an accredited institution.
On path to becoming a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
Ability to work late afternoons and early evenings to meet clients in home or community settings.
Strong verbal and written communication, mental stability, and ethical conduct.
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and willingness to travel within the Twin Cities metro.

Responsibilities

Complete diagnostic assessments and develop custom treatment plans focused on individual and family goals.
Build therapeutic relationships to support recovery and rehabilitative goals.
Collaborate with community partners, including case managers, medical personnel, and school staff.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services.
