Family Based Mental Health Therapist / Child & Family Therapist / Community Mental Health Counselor
About The Position
Every Child, Inc. (ECI) is seeking Family Based Mental Health Therapists to join their passionate, community-focused behavioral health team in both their Pittsburgh and Washington County offices. ECI is a growing, innovative nonprofit that assigns manageable caseloads so therapists can truly focus on providing high-quality counseling, therapy, and mental health support to children, adolescents, and their families. This role is for skilled mental health professionals ready to bring their expertise in family therapy, trauma-informed care, and crisis intervention to an organization that values flexibility, teamwork, and professional growth.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related field
- Minimum of two years of direct counseling experience in a child-serving system/agency (internships not counted toward requirement due to state regulations)
- Experience with trauma-focused therapy and crisis intervention
- Strong organizational and computer skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting

Responsibilities
- Creating individualized treatment plans
- Providing intensive in-home therapeutic interventions
- Guiding families through the healing process
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team
- Delivering therapy, clinical assessments, crisis management, and psychoeducation from a whole-family, systems-based perspective
