About The Position

EMS is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to provide Skills Training & Development in the Dallas, Texas, area. EMS has been in business since 2005 and is expanding to Texas. The role involves working with adults with serious mental illness and with children and adolescents, including counseling, skills development, case management, and community-based support.

Requirements

• Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
• Experience with children and/or adults.

Responsibilities

• See clients in the community, including in clients’ homes.
• Provide one-to-one mental health counseling related to client goals.
• Provide skill building to adults with serious mental illness.
• Take adult clients to appointments.
• Help adult clients connect with community resources.
• Provide case management to ensure clients’ basic needs are met.
• Provide individual and family counseling to children and adolescents.
• Complete individualized service plans.
• Complete quarterly reports.
• Complete progress notes for each client session.
• Provide information for authorization of services.
• Meet regularly for supervision.
• Attend team meetings.
