As a Community Based BHIS Caseworker, the role involves working directly with children and their families to provide skill-building services addressing their mental health needs. Services are client-centered, strengths-based, professional, and compassionate. The caseworker encourages positive behaviors and actions and coordinates with other professionals to ensure comprehensive services. Skill-building focuses on cognitive flexibility, communication, conflict resolution, executive functioning, interpersonal relationships, problem-solving, and social skills. The position offers scheduling flexibility to meet client needs.
