About The Position

Common Desk, a WeWork company, is seeking a Part-Time Community Associate to join their team in Wilmington. This role focuses on building a welcoming community among members by planning and hosting events, maintaining the physical space, and providing exceptional service. The Community Associate will act as a point of contact for the Community and report to the building's Community Lead, supporting strategies for member retention and growth.

Requirements

  • Proficient in basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • College graduate with a four-year degree preferred.
  • Customer service and/or sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the front desk is covered during business hours and act as an on-site point of contact.
  • Greet members and guests warmly and learn their names to build relationships.
  • Anticipate member and guest needs to enhance their experience.
  • Keep the front desk clean and organized.
  • Answer member and guest questions related to the building, policies, and procedures.
  • Execute marketing and sales tasks, including managing sales pipelines, posting on social media, and scheduling events.
  • Celebrate member successes and milestones.
  • Plan location events and promote them through posters and other necessary information.
  • Conduct New Member Orientations, educating members on policies and encouraging app usage.
  • Recommend local services such as restaurants, delivery, and shipping.
  • Explain Common Desk policies and procedures and communicate building updates to members.
  • Ensure appropriate music levels and event atmosphere.
  • Send member notifications through OfficeRnD.
  • Manage the location's coffee outpost, providing coffee drinks.
  • Handle day-to-day responsibilities such as sorting mail, answering calls and emails, making coffee, and giving tours.
  • Receive, process, sort, and organize mail, returning mail for unidentified senders or former members after 30 days.
  • Track, audit, and organize keys and manage keycard stock.
  • Collect keys and key cards upon move-out.
  • Review location and emergency equipment usage.
