About The Position

Common Desk, a WeWork company, is seeking a Community Associate to join their team. This role focuses on creating a welcoming workspace community through exceptional member service, event planning, and maintaining the physical space. The Community Associate will support the Community Lead and work collaboratively with the team to ensure member satisfaction, retention, and growth. Responsibilities include front desk management, event execution, sales support, member engagement, and assisting with building operations.

  • Customer service and/or sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Community Lead and Senior Community Manager in daily operations.
  • Act as an on-site point of contact for members and guests, ensuring the front desk is covered during business hours.
  • Greet members and guests warmly, learning their names to foster a sense of community.
  • Anticipate member and guest needs and personalize their experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Answer member and guest questions regarding the building, policies, and procedures.
  • Execute marketing and sales tasks, including managing sales pipelines and social media.
  • Plan and promote location events, including creating and posting event posters.
  • Conduct New Member Orientations, educating members on policies and app usage.
  • Recommend local services such as restaurants, delivery, and supply stores.
  • Communicate and update members on building issues.
  • Manage the location's coffee outpost, if applicable, providing coffee drinks.
  • Handle day-to-day building operations such as sorting mail, answering calls and emails, and giving tours.
  • Receive, process, sort, and organize mail, returning unidentified mail and former member mail after 30 days.
  • Track, audit, and organize keys and manage keycard inventory.
  • Collect keys and key cards upon move-out.
  • Review and understand the function of all emergency equipment.
