About The Position

The Dinerstein Companies (TDC) is seeking dynamic individuals to be the face of our company, brand, and property in our markets. As a Community Assistant, you will be the primary support for the property's leasing efforts, managing inquiries, conducting tours, performing follow-ups, and assisting prospects with the application process. You will also ensure lease files are accurate and organized, report on leasing metrics, and maintain a high energy and professional demeanor. Once the property is operational, you will foster positive resident relationships and contribute to the property's success by providing excellent customer service, managing resident requests, assisting with community events, tending to after-hours emergencies, and participating in property inspections. You will also be responsible for administrative tasks including online coursework, following up on surveys, and auditing records. TDC has a sixty-year history of developing premier apartment communities and is committed to genuine hospitality and authentic care.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field is a plus.

  • Friendly demeanor that establishes you as a trusted advisor for prospective and current residents.
  • Familiarity with company policies and procedures, as well as industry training.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all leasing inquiries, conduct tours, perform follow-ups, and assist prospects with the application process.
  • Ensure digital and/or physical lease files are accurate, complete, and organized.
  • Report traffic, application, and lease number variances to appropriate team members.
  • Ensure daily tasks and follow-ups are completed and documented.
  • Maintain a high energy and professional demeanor.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, parents, and prospects.
  • Manage resident requests, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of community events.
  • Tend to after-hours emergency calls as needed/required by the on-site management team.
  • Participate in seasonal team events, including turn and quarterly unit inspections.
  • Answer resident questions regarding lease terms, charges, and any lease violations.
  • Complete online coursework on fair housing, customer service, and company policies.
  • Follow up on prospect, resident, and maintenance surveys to ensure the highest level of customer service.
  • Conduct regular audits of lease files, resident ledgers, and property reports.
  • Participate in daily reports on lead traffic and leasing efforts.
