About The Position

University Health Physicians, an academic group practice affiliated with the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine in conjunction with its major teaching facility Truman Medical Centers/University Health (TMC/UH), is seeking a full-time, board-certified/board-eligible Family Medicine Physician with a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Geriatric Medicine. This role balances exceptional clinical care for older adults with a robust academic appointment, offering significant opportunities to shape the next generation of physicians through teaching, mentorship, and scholarly activity. Requirements

  • Board-certified/board-eligible Family Medicine Physician
  • Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Geriatric Medicine

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical practice experience in an academic medical setting.
  • Proven leadership experience in medical education, curriculum design, and/or clinical operations.
  • Strong track record of or demonstrated commitment to clinical teaching and academic medicine.
  • Experience in securing research funding or leading interdisciplinary clinical trials.
