The Atlanta Fed’s Community and Economic Development Department supports the central bank’s mandate of stable prices and maximum employment by helping improve the economic opportunity of low- and moderate-income populations and underserved places for a stronger economy for all Americans. To this end, the Department seeks a Community and Economic Development Research Advisor/Senior Advisor to produce original quantitative research papers and reports on topics related to affordable housing, housing policy, or broader housing dynamics affecting low- and moderate-income populations. The Advisor/Senior Advisor establishes an annual research agenda aligned with the Community and Economic Development mission and strategy; contributes to the Bank's objective of remaining a knowledge center for applied research by writing; gives speeches and talks to outside audiences; and collaborates on research projects with Community and Economic Development colleagues, research economists, and other Bank staff.
