About The Position
Interesting part-time opportunity. If you are looking for a few hours a week, check this posting out! The Community Ambassadors will support Unity House of Troy through various roles and different work sites throughout the community. Part-time position 4-8 hours per week.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs without assistance.
- Ability to work with the public; good customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Willingness to learn and follow directions.
- Interested in working and the ability to adhere to established arrival times and assigned schedules.
- Ability to learn about Rensselaer County to offer support to patrons.
- Must be able to stand.
- Must be able to walk indoors and outdoors.
Responsibilities
- Greeting of all guests.
- Provide a welcoming experience
- Assist with Unity House Children's Holiday Program.
- Attend events and answer patron’s questions
- Assist with where and when needed.
- Promote an environment of inclusion and belonging.
