About The Position

Join Right at Home SLC as a Community Ambassador to expand our reach and make a difference in the lives of families across Salt Lake County and Davis County. Right at Home SLC provides compassionate, non-medical home care services to older adults and individuals with disabilities. This role is for a community champion who believes in the power of care and connection, acting as the face and voice of Right at Home in the community. The ambassador will engage with local organizations, referral partners, and families to raise awareness about services and build lasting relationships, performing personal visits to ensure clients receive the right care at the right time with the right people. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in outreach, community engagement, or sales, who are energized by people and purpose.

Requirements

  • Experience in community outreach, sales, or business development
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-starter with a collaborative spirit
  • Deep connection to or knowledge of the local community
  • Flexible availability to respond to inquiries and opportunities
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Be available as required for on-call duty outside of normal office hours
  • Ability to pass a Health Department Background check, DMV check, Drug Test

Responsibilities

  • Actively connect with potential clients, families, and referral sources in the community
  • Represent Right at Home at local events, health fairs, and possible networking opportunities
  • Maintain a strong field presence (approx. 75% of your time)
  • Build and nurture a pipeline of at least 40 active referral sources weekly
  • Follow up with leads via calls, emails, and in-person visits
  • Be available as required for on-call duty outside of normal office hours
  • Serve as a trusted resource and advocate for families exploring home care options
  • Pre-plan weekly sales activities, create opportunities for communication with referral sources, and maintain all sales activity in a Customer Relationship Manager database.
