About The Position

The CAT Team Lead position will supervise the Community Action Team (CAT) serving youth aged 11 to 21 and their families. The Community Action Team coordinates treatment, rehabilitation and support to youth and their family, completes timely and appropriate documentation of services and must successfully function in a fast-paced, team-driven work environment.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school with a Master’s degree in psychology, social work, psychiatric rehabilitation or a related human services discipline required.
  • Must be eligible to be a registered intern seeking licensure with the State of Florida to be considered for the position and must apply to be a registered intern within 30 days of acceptance of the position.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients, families, and team members.
  • Proficient in developing and implementing individualized care plans and crisis intervention strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with community partners and stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records and other relevant software applications.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in behavioral health practice.

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years of experience working with children/adolescents with behavioral health needs preferred.
  • Two years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessment of psychiatric history, mental status, developmental history, and diagnosis; physical health and dental health; use of drugs or alcohol; education and employment; social development and functioning; activities of daily living; and family structure and relationships.
  • Become certified in the High-Fidelity Wraparound Process within 3 months of employment and attend all Wraparound implementation or learning community meetings as offered or required.
  • Serve as the Wrap around Coach for the department.
  • Provide oversight of team to ensure program expectations and reporting per LSF Guidance documents is met; including program census, child and family functioning, and school attendance.
  • Take the lead role or participate in providing treatment services related to SA/MH.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for CAT program after-hours emergency matters.
