About The Position

This position focuses on developing a Care Store stocked with donations and a resource bank (e.g., community resources, donations, in-kind services) to be used by Just Care program coaches developing treatment goals for parents. The Community Access Navigator is the face of the Just Care program in the community. This role is key to the success of the program and is responsible for securing donations, services, and resources for families as part of the reinforcement system provided within Just Care. A strong Community Access Navigator communicates often with the clinical team to learn about their caseload’s resource needs, interests, and preferred items for reinforcements. The Community Access Navigator is the heart of the Just Care team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with coursework appropriate to the position and at least 2 years related experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable interacting with a broad range of personalities and individuals with varying levels of functioning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Comfortable “cold calling” or making contacts with community members.
  • Comfortable openly discussing the general population that is served by this project.
  • Comfortable interacting with social media and technology to develop creative content.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, requiring participatory decision-making/cooperative interactions among employees.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Ability to make a significant level of interpretive judgment.
  • Ability to make independent decisions or choose between existing methods and procedures.
  • Excellent prioritizing tasks and ability to balance work requests.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment regarding matters of significance.
  • Flexibility in regard to work schedule and time.
