About The Position

This role requires a Communications Specialist with fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English to provide interpretation and translation services, particularly within a manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or technical setting. The specialist will be responsible for facilitating clear communication between different groups, ensuring accuracy in real-time interpretation and translation of technical discussions.

Requirements

• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written)
• At least 2 years of experience
• Prior experience providing interpretation and/or translation services in a manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or technical environment
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, or technical terminology (e.g., production operations, engineering concepts, safety protocols)
• Ability to interpret complex or technical discussions in real time with accuracy
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups
• Professional discretion and ability to handle confidential information

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience supporting manufacturing plants, factories, or industrial operations
• Familiarity with technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), or production workflows
• Formal training or certification in translation or interpretation is a plus
