Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or Marketing, or a minimum of five years' Communications-related experience required
• Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing communications strategies required
• Knowledge of planning, coordinating, and implementing special events and business promotions
• A high level of creativity is required, with demonstrated attention to detail
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, coupled with strong organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a group or independently

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the financial services industry preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, WordPress, and MailChimp preferred

Responsibilities

• Researching sponsorship and donation requests from the community
• Developing relationships with community organizations
• Crafting customer-facing messaging
• Creating social media, blog, email marketing, and website content
• Writing press releases
• Researching trends in the industry
• Attending BSNB events and promotions
• Taking an idea, researching it, discussing it with appropriate areas of the bank and making recommendations on how the bank should proceed
