About The Position

The KFI IP Deployment & AI Communications Specialist is a newly created role designed to bridge the gap between Korn Ferry Institute’s world-class research and intellectual property (IP) and the commercial teams, clients, and external markets that need to consume and act on it. This individual will translate and activate complex research outputs into compelling, audience-specific content—tailored by industry, geography, and client context—and will leverage AI tools to do so at speed and scale. This role combines editorial craft, commercial awareness, and emerging AI fluency in a way that is genuinely new for KFI. The ideal candidate is a digitally native communicator who can operate at the intersection of research rigor and market relevance. Korn Ferry Institute produces some of the most authoritative research in leadership, talent, and organizational effectiveness. However, the path from research output to commercial impact—in the hands of client-facing consultants, in the media, and in industry-specific conversations—requires dedicated translation and deployment capability. This role is designed to accelerate that path, using AI as a force multiplier.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools for professional content creation (portfolio or examples required)
  • Experience working in a professional services, consulting, or research organization preferred
  • Experience translating complex or technical content for business audiences
  • Exposure to multiple industries is a plus; deep knowledge of one sector (e.g., healthcare, technology, financial services) is valued
  • AI Platforms: Claude (Anthropic), ChatGPT (OpenAI), Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini — at minimum comfortable with two; ideally experienced across several
  • Content & Design: Canva, PowerPoint, Microsoft 365 Suite (Word, Sway, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Project Management: Smartsheet, Asana, or equivalent
  • Analytics: Comfortable with web analytics, newsletter metrics, and basic data interpretation
  • Bonus: Familiarity with prompt engineering frameworks, AI agent concepts, or automation tools (Zapier, Power Automate)

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework or certifications in AI/machine learning, data analytics, or digital marketing are a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Translate KFI research papers, Intellectual Property (IP), data analyses, and thought leadership into formats optimized for specific audiences: client teams, industry verticals, geographic markets, and external media
  • Create geography and industry-specific derivatives of flagship research and IP (e.g., adapting a CEO succession study for healthcare, technology, or financial services contexts)
  • Develop client-ready slide decks, talking points, one-pagers, and executive briefings from core research and IP outputs
  • Partner with KFI researchers and IP developers to identify the most commercially relevant findings and translate them for practitioner audiences
  • Maintain a deployment pipeline aligned to KFI’s editorial calendar and Korn Ferry’s commercial priorities
  • Use generative AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini) to accelerate content creation, summarization, adaptation, and formatting workflows
  • Develop and maintain a library of reusable AI prompts tailored to KFI’s content types: research summaries, executive briefs, newsletter copy, social posts, and client-facing decks
  • Produce impactful thought leadership and research layouts
  • Experiment with AI-powered workflows for content personalization at scale—e.g., generating industry-specific versions of a single research report
  • Apply AI tools for quality assurance: fact-checking references, identifying GenAI language artifacts, and ensuring brand voice consistency
  • Stay current on AI tool evolution and bring forward recommendations for new tools, plugins, or workflow automations relevant to KFI’s mission
  • Support the positioning of KFI research in external media, strategic partnerships (e.g., Wall Street Journal, Wharton), and industry conferences
  • Draft media-ready materials: press release summaries, interview preparation documents, and quotable insights for KFI leadership
  • Collaborate with Marketing, PR, and Social Media teams to amplify thought leadership reach
  • Monitor competitive landscape and identify opportunities to differentiate KFI’s research voice
  • Partner with commercial client teams to understand what content formats and topics drive engagement in their markets
  • Support the Research Enablement toolkit: creating slide decks, data visualizations, and reference materials that consultants can use directly
  • Coordinate with IP Development on design needs, template governance, and quality standards
  • Attend and contribute to cross-functional meetings: Research Homeroom, IP Homeroom, Marketing All-Hands, KF Insights, and Social Media quarterly reviews
