About The Position

Communications Specialist – Customer & Stakeholder Engagement Juno Beach, FL 33408 | 12-Month Contract | On-Site | Up to $18/hr Are you a seasoned communicator who thrives on managing complex projects from concept to delivery? We're looking for a strategic Communications Specialist to join a high-impact team supporting internal and external communications for a leading organization in the energy sector. This is a hands-on contract opportunity for a professional who brings both creative storytelling and disciplined project execution to the table. The Role This position is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of communication materials — from initial concept through successful, on-time delivery. You'll collaborate across teams to craft clear, compelling messages that advance business objectives and strengthen stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in corporate communications, PR, or marketing communications
  • Proven ability to manage the full lifecycle of communication projects in a corporate or agency environment
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a portfolio showcasing a variety of communication materials
  • Experience supporting senior leadership communications in a matrixed organization
  • Excellent project management skills with exceptional attention to detail and deadline adherence
  • 6-10 years of experience in customer outreach, community engagement, or communication support.
  • Ability to work fully on-site in Juno Beach, FL for the duration of the contract

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end development of communication materials from concept through final delivery
  • Manage the planning, creation, review, and distribution of internal and external communication content
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and translate business objectives into clear communication materials
  • Coordinate communication campaigns and initiatives to support company programs, projects, and announcements
  • Ensure all communications adhere to brand standards, corporate messaging guidelines, and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee project timelines to ensure communication deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule
  • Support leadership communications including announcements, briefings, and strategic updates
  • Coordinate with marketing, public relations, and operational teams to ensure consistent messaging across channels
  • Conduct audience analysis to tailor communications for maximum clarity and impact
  • Maintain documentation and records of communication plans, deliverables, and results
  • Review and edit communication materials to ensure quality, clarity, and consistency
  • Track and report on communication metrics to leadership and stakeholders
  • Continuously evaluate communication processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
