Caterpillar is looking to add a Communications Specialist to our Construction Industries Supply Management team (CISM). CISM manages the end-to-end supply management solutions for our Construction Industries segment. Requirements

Internal Communications : Knowledge of techniques for internal communications; ability to produce and distribute news, newsletters and other communications materials targeted at the employees.

Nice To Haves

Degree in Communications, Political Science, Journalism or equivalent.
Experience engaging, advising, and collaborating with senior leaders and stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to provide strategic support with communication efforts.
Proficiency with the Office 365 suite of tools including PowerPoint, SharePoint, Viva Engage, etc.
Experience working with graphic design and creative layouts.
Video editing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Collaborating with internal stakeholders and advising on the suitability of approaches for communication efforts.
Tracking and analyzing metrics to measure the effectiveness of internal communications.
Creating content for employee communication channels; ensuring that messaging and branding is consistent across all channels.
Developing and distributing communications materials, such as written communications, presentation materials, etc. to deliver key messages.
