The Communications Specialist supports CORE’s communications, marketing, public awareness, and donor designation efforts through social media management, content creation, website administration, communications support, and performance analytics. Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Lead, this position develops and distributes content across digital and traditional communications channels, supports media and public awareness initiatives, and helps ensure consistent application of CORE’s brand standards, messaging, and strategic priorities. The Communications Specialist is responsible for managing CORE’s social media presence, maintaining website content, supporting internal and external communications, monitoring communications performance metrics, and assisting with media relations activities. This position plays an important role in telling the stories of donation and transplantation through compelling written, visual, and multimedia content while helping increase public awareness and donor designation throughout CORE’s service area. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, creativity, attention to detail, project management abilities, and proficiency in digital communications platforms and analytics tools. They must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while representing CORE’s mission, vision, and values in a professional manner. This position requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends and travel throughout CORE’s designated service area, including overnight travel to support community outreach activities, events, campaigns, meetings, and organizational initiatives.
