About The Position

The primary function of the Communication Specialist (Digital) is to support the enterprise and operating entities with their digital communications needs, ensuring ITC's digital activities are engaging and aligned with our brand image and business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, Advertising or relevant, equivalent experience and/or education.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in relevant field required.
  • Experience in digital communications tactics including short-form videos to engage internal and external audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing, editing, presentation and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to delegate and take direction with minimal supervision in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to exhibit professional behaviors and to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues and individuals inside and outside the Company.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to create brand-aligned graphics using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with WordPress (or similar CMS platforms) and social media management tools such as Hootsuite.
  • Ability to professionally and effectively manage and prioritize time while handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Some travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Executes strategic communications plans to meet business objectives using digital platforms such as web, social media, advertising and blog.
  • Provides support for company social media channels, including content curation, monitoring and reporting.
  • Assists with content development and CMS technical support for ITC's corporate and project websites.
  • Contributes to digital marketing campaigns that support company initiatives including industry advocacy, community engagement and Customer Value and Affordability.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to communicate ITC's employee experience and build connections via external digital channels.
  • Coordinates with Marketing & Communications team to plan and support photo and video shoots, including basic editing tasks.
  • Organizes and maintains digital assets to ensure brand consistency and efficient content access.
  • Maintains routine contact with digital marketing and web agencies, supporting project management for digital initiatives.
  • Research and implement new trends and innovative storytelling formats to reach key audiences.
  • Responsibilities may include developing web and blog content, presentations and internal communications.
