About The Position

The Digital Marketing Communications Specialist plays a mission-critical role in supporting both new member acquisition and ongoing member retention. This position blends email marketing, digital design, social media, content development, and member engagement to increase SonoSim’s member retention by helping members maximize their investment. This is a highly collaborative role at the intersection of marketing, member success & retention, content, and sales, supporting initiatives across multiple market segments of medicine. Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in email marketing, digital communications, and/or lifecycle marketing.
  • Strong design capabilities (Canva, Adobe, Figma).
  • Experience with HubSpot email builds, programming workflows, and Salesforce CRM.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to analyze email and social success
  • Ability to produce media (video editing experience is a plus).
  • Basic HTML/CSS for email formatting or troubleshooting.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, EdTech, MedTech, or medical/healthcare education market(s) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and deploy high-performing email campaigns and automated workflows targeting prospects, members, and learner cohorts.
  • Lead development of direct e-commerce sales email marketing campaigns and automation.
  • Build member onboarding email journeys that enhance adoption and satisfaction.
  • Conduct A/B testing across design, copy, segmentation, and send timing. Analyze key success factors and evolve the email program to address opportunities.
  • Troubleshoot formatting issues using HTML/CSS as needed.
  • Optimize sender reputation, list hygiene, and deliverability.
  • Create visually engaging social posts and graphics to support evergreen campaigns, promotions, member education, and thought leadership.
  • Oversee a full-year social media plan across channels and collaborate on ongoing social media execution.
  • Support event and tradeshow promotion with targeted email and social content.
  • Maintain consistent brand identity across channels.
  • Assist in building and executing the Member Onboarding & Retention Communication Plan.
  • Support Member Success goals with communications efforts
  • Serve as a key liaison in the development & maintenance of all Member Onboarding Courses.
  • Research, develop, and build Member Success automation workflows.
  • Develop and maintain onboarding materials, resource guides, and communication sequences.
  • Conduct and/or help support Member Webinars, ensuring content quality and engagement.
  • Write and edit compelling copy for emails, social posts, onboarding materials, and promotional campaigns.
  • Perform QA on marketing assets to ensure accuracy, brand consistency, and clarity.
  • Partner with product management, sales, member success, and content teams to support launches, announcements, and educational campaigns.
  • Work effectively within HubSpot and Salesforce, and other internal business systems.
