The Communications Operator is responsible for responding to and operating multi-function workstations, paging systems, emergency hotlines, and alarm devices. This role serves as a critical communication link within the hospital, ensuring efficient and timely dissemination of information for routine, urgent, and emergent situations. The operator will also be responsible for the repair of pagers and telephones, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of hospital policies and personnel information, and participating in staff meetings.
