The College of Education, serving over 1200 credential and graduate students, focuses on closing the opportunity gap and credentialing the largest number of teachers among California public institutions. The Asian Language Bilingual Teacher Education Program Consortium (ALBTEP) supports K-12 teachers in obtaining Asian bilingual credentials, offering scholarships to make this more accessible and promote Asian languages. ALBTEP works with the National Resource Center for Asian Languages Center (NRCAL) to enhance the nation's capacity for teaching and learning Asian languages through publications, educational resources, and professional development. The Communications/Marketing Student Assistant will support ALBTEP and NRCAL program coordinators with animation and illustrations for programming operations, including seminar presentations, digital storytelling, and marketing. This role provides creative support for program activities and coordination assistance for educational events, offering an opportunity for a federal work-study student passionate about the intersection of animation and Asian language education.
