About The Position

DHI Group, Inc. is seeking a Communications Manager to serve as the storyteller for the organization, both internally to employees and externally to candidates, the talent market, and the broader community. This is a newly scoped role within the People team, focused on internal communications, employer brand, and HR program enablement. The ideal candidate will partner directly with the Chief People Officer, the executive leadership team, and people leaders across Dice, ClearanceJobs, and corporate functions to ensure DHI's story is communicated clearly, consistently, and with conviction. This role offers the opportunity for measurable impact at a public company where the work is visible to the CEO.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive communications experience, with a meaningful portion in internal communications, employee communications, or employer brand.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field — or equivalent professional experience.
  • Exceptional writing skills.
  • Demonstrated experience building communications programs from the ground up.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and audiences.
  • Comfort operating in a public company context, with awareness of disclosure considerations and message discipline.
  • A collaborative, low-ego style.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting HR, People, or Talent functions on program communications and change management.
  • Familiarity with employer brand platforms (LinkedIn Life, Glassdoor, Comparably) and award submission processes.
  • Background in HR tech, recruiting tech, SaaS, or other talent-adjacent industries.
  • Experience with intranet platforms, AI-assisted content tools, and basic analytics for measuring communication impact.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own DHI’s internal communications strategy, calendar, and channel mix.
  • Partner with the CEO, CPO, and SLT on company-wide communications including all-hands meetings, leadership messages, business updates, and quarterly earnings-related employee communications.
  • Serve as the embedded communications partner for major HR initiatives (performance management, engagement survey, leadership framework launches, total rewards, and benefits enrollment).
  • Develop manager toolkits, FAQs, talking points, and rollout plans.
  • Define and steward DHI’s employer brand value proposition in partnership with Marketing, Talent Acquisition, and the executive team.
  • Build DHI’s external employer brand presence, including an employer awards strategy and culture-related media moments.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Investor Relations, and Legal to ensure messaging is aligned, accurate, and compliant.
  • Coach leaders on communication strategies for town halls, written updates, and team conversations.
