Communications Manager

About The Position

This role sits at the intersection of employee experience and client trust – responsible for the stories we tell inside our walls and the messages that reach the employers and businesses we serve. You will be a primary owner of high-visibility internal communications – from executive messaging and change management campaigns to culture content and company-wide announcements – while also supporting client-facing communications that reinforce Auris's credibility, trust, and service commitment. You are comfortable writing for a COO and for a CSR in the same week. You understand that in a payroll SaaS environment, what we say (and how fast we say it) directly affects client confidence and employee performance. This role is right for a communicator who is disciplined but creative, can manage multiple fast-moving workstreams, and brings a builder's mindset to a function that is still scaling.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of communications experience, with a demonstrated track record in internal communications, corporate communications, or a closely related function.
  • Exceptional writing ability across formats and audiences, from executive memos to Teams announcements to client notifications.
  • Experience in SaaS, fintech, HR tech, or payroll strongly preferred; you understand the stakes when communications touch employee paychecks or client trust.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment without losing quality or missing deadlines.
  • Experience working with or ghostwriting for senior leaders; comfort navigating different voice profiles and communication styles.
  • Familiarity with intranet platforms, email deployment tools, and project management systems (experience with Axero, HubSpot, or Wrike a plus).
  • Collaborative, low-ego, and highly organized – able to work across teams and follow through without heavy hand-holding.
