Boeing is looking for a Communications Manager to join the Boeing Wichita Communications team. In this high-impact role, you’ll serve as a trusted communications partner to business leaders and a valued collaborator with teammates supporting site and business unit priorities. Boeing Wichita is one of the company’s largest and most vital sites, home to more than 13,000 teammates who have produced thousands of airplane fuselages and countless other components for Boeing’s commercial programs. With Boeing investing $1 billion over the next three years to modernize facilities and strengthen the production system, this is an exciting opportunity to help tell the story of a site that is shaping the future of commercial aviation. This is a full-time, on-site position with Boeing Commercial Airplanes based in Wichita, Kansas. This is a senior-level communications role responsible for leading the development, execution, and sustainment of employee communications related to manufacturing, operations, safety and quality and other business areas as assigned. The selected candidate will work closely with executives and communications partners to create impactful communications programs that advance broader business goals, while also supporting Boeing–Spirit AeroSystems integration efforts and related action plans. The ideal candidate is a strategic and highly organized project manager with strong judgment, excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. This individual will proactively identify opportunities to strengthen communications, partner effectively across the business, and develop solutions that align with audience needs and organizational priorities. The role also requires the ability to advise business partners on internal communications approaches, content development, channel strategy and the creation of tactical communications materials.
