About The Position

The Communications Manager plays a key role in executing Korean Women's Association (KWA) internal and external communications strategy. This role is responsible for developing compelling content, managing multi-channel communication efforts, and supporting organizational initiatives through clear and engaging messaging. The position partners across departments to ensure communications are timely and aligned.

Requirements

  • Layout and design experience, Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
  • Principles and practices of video production.
  • Experience in publication to social media platforms.
  • Principles and practices of public administration, organization and employee supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, graphic design or three years of related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and maintain KWA public-relations and communication policies and procedures.
  • Provide direction and guidance to Department Directors regarding communication issues.
  • Manage internal and external communications, which include print, news releases, media, multi-media, public relations or other areas.
  • Oversee, develop and implement communications projects utilizing Web-based technology.
  • Content creation and storytelling.
  • Photography, Video, and Audio Production.
