The communications intern helps develop strategies focused on supporting farmers as they raise livestock responsibly and successfully. From the office to the field, the communications intern acquires hands-on experience in agriculture, journalism, public relations, marketing, social media, event management, and much more. This paid internship is full-time from May-August, with potential for the selected applicant to work part-time in the spring/fall. As an intern, you will also participate in corporate activities designed to provide exposure to our industry, organization, and culture. Our internship program follows an 80/10/10 approach: 80% of your time will be spent performing meaningful work and project-based assignments within your department. 10% of your time will be dedicated to learning from and networking with employees in other areas of the organization. 10% of your time will be spent participating in shared internship experiences that provide insight into our culture, leadership, and business operations.
