About The Position

The Communications Intern will work within the City Manager's Department, Communications Division. This division focuses on the ongoing dissemination of innovative, transparent, and engaging public information. The division is responsible for providing the community with timely and accurate information regarding city events, news, and programs through various media methods. Requirements

Two (2) years of college coursework at an accredited college or university and current enrollment as a college student, OR graduation from a four (4) year accredited college or university with major coursework in Public or Business Administration, or an area related to the Intern position to be assigned.
Ability to submit a completed City application, cover letter, resume, and a list of professional references.
Verification of the legal right to work in the United States.
Sign a loyalty oath to the United States and the State of California Constitution at time of hire.
