Rooted in Epicentre Church’s Identity, Mission, and Vision, and shaped by our Ministry Philosophy (Relational and Equipping Values), the Communications Director leads Epicentre’s communications ministry within a focused part-time scope, helping the church family encounter God, disciple others, and live on mission through clear, timely, and engaging communication. This role provides strategic leadership for the church’s internal and external communications, directing digital platforms, social media, print and visual media, website, and email, and shaping clear messages through announcements and storytelling. Within 20 hours a week, the Communications Director focuses on the most important channels and content, works closely with the Graphic Designer and General Administrator on shared work, and apprentices a small volunteer team to extend the department’s capacity. Anchored in Epicentre’s Equipping Values (Compelling Clarity, Anointed Fit, Patient Apprenticing, Life-giving Coaching, and Honoring Transition), the Communications Department exists to Equip our body and Antioch So Cal region, Reflect and cultivate who we are, Call people to actionable next steps in God’s bigger story, and Distribute important organizational information. We are winning when communication is clear, timely, and engaging, and those who encounter it can say: “I know what is happening at my church.” “I love my church.” “Communication is a positive touchpoint in my relationship with God.”
