About The Position

Reveille Group is a strategic advisory consulting firm with offices in Washington, DC. We are focused on providing our diverse clients with innovative solutions including technical analysis and development. We are looking to bring on an integral team member to provide support for an existing project. You will function as a Communications Data Analyst for a federal agency. Please note this is a remote position, and you must be in the contiguous United States available to travel to DC and other locations on occasion/as needed. The Communications Data Analyst will provide senior-level analytics support for a federal strategic communications and stakeholder engagement program. The analyst will integrate communications, engagement, customer, digital, and CRM data into reliable reporting that helps leaders understand message reach, stakeholder participation, customer needs, pipeline activity, behavior change, and organizational outcomes. The role combines data analysis with a practical understanding of communications and customer engagement. The analyst will establish measurement frameworks, build and maintain dashboards, improve CRM data quality, analyze patterns across channels and stakeholder groups, and convert findings into concise recommendations for Government decision-makers. All work must follow federal privacy, security, records management, accessibility, and information-handling requirements.

Requirements

At least seven years of progressively responsible experience in data analytics, business intelligence, CRM analytics, marketing or communications analytics, customer analytics, program evaluation, or a closely related field.
Bachelor's degree in data analytics, statistics, business analytics, information systems, communications, marketing, public administration, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining executive dashboards, recurring performance reports, and analytical products used for operational or strategic decision-making.
Advanced proficiency with a business intelligence and visualization platform such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or an equivalent tool.
Strong experience with CRM data and reporting using Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, or a comparable platform, including data structure, quality, segmentation, pipeline, and engagement history.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data cleaning, lookups, pivot tables, data modeling, validation, and repeatable reporting workflows.
Working proficiency with SQL or another query language and the ability to combine, validate, and analyze data from multiple structured sources.
Experience defining KPIs, documenting metric logic, establishing baselines and targets, and assessing reach, engagement, conversion, satisfaction, behavior change, or organizational outcomes.
Ability to translate analytical findings into clear narratives, executive summaries, briefing slides, and actionable recommendations for nontechnical audiences.
Strong understanding of data governance, quality assurance, privacy, access controls, and responsible handling of sensitive organizational and stakeholder information.
Ability to manage multiple reporting cycles, stakeholders, and urgent requests while maintaining version control, traceability, and deadlines.
Ability to satisfy all applicable federal suitability, onboarding, confidentiality, privacy, and information-handling requirements for the assignment.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting a federal agency, public-sector organization, government contractor, or highly regulated environment.
Experience analyzing communications, marketing, stakeholder engagement, customer experience, public affairs, or workforce engagement programs.
Experience with survey platforms, web analytics, social media analytics, email campaign data, qualitative analysis, or media monitoring data.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate, Power Query, and approved methods for automating recurring reporting workflows.
Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility requirements for dashboards, data visualizations, reports, and digital content.
Experience developing analytical SOPs, governance standards, training materials, and knowledge-transfer resources.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain a communications and engagement measurement framework that connects program objectives to KPIs, data sources, calculation methods, reporting cadence, owners, and decision uses.
Build, enhance, and maintain integrated dashboards for communications performance, stakeholder engagement, customer outreach, CRM activity, pipeline status, service-level performance, and leadership reporting.
Analyze message reach, channel performance, stakeholder participation, event and session activity, audience behavior, customer feedback, and organizational outcomes across internal and external communications efforts.
Develop CRM reporting structures and data standards for contacts, organizations, interactions, engagement history, customer segments, opportunities, milestones, follow-up actions, and outcomes.
Monitor CRM and engagement data quality; identify duplicates, missing fields, inconsistent classifications, stale records, and reporting gaps; coordinate corrective actions with system owners and users.
Integrate and reconcile data from CRM platforms, spreadsheets, web analytics, social media, email, surveys, event records, media monitoring, and other approved sources.
Create audience and stakeholder segmentation models that improve targeting, outreach planning, engagement strategies, and assessment of underserved or under-engaged groups.
Conduct trend, cohort, funnel, and comparative analyses to identify changes in engagement, recurring issues, emerging risks, program opportunities, and factors affecting communications performance.
Develop recurring monthly and executive reports that explain findings, limitations, data quality, risks, and recommended actions in clear language for nontechnical audiences.
Support customer satisfaction assessments, survey design, response analysis, qualitative coding, and integration of feedback into dashboards and continuous improvement recommendations.
Track deliverables and service levels, including responsiveness, timeliness, quality, staffing coverage, recurring reporting, and other performance standards established by the Government.
Partner with communications, program management, digital, web, customer experience, and technical teams to define reporting needs and translate operational questions into measurable indicators.
Develop data dictionaries, metric definitions, dashboard documentation, data lineage records, standard operating procedures, quality-control checks, and user guidance.
Present analytical findings to Government and contractor leadership and provide practical recommendations that support communications planning, customer engagement, resource allocation, and continuous improvement.
Respond to routine, urgent, and occasional surge reporting requests while maintaining accuracy, traceability, and appropriate review controls.
