As Communications Coordinator, you are passionate about creating engaging messaging and storytelling that helps people, from youth to seniors, understand invasive species and take ‘invasive-wise’ actions to help steward lands and waters in B.C. You collaborate virtually with a dynamic team to share key messages. Your role focuses on writing articles, managing social media, sharing stories, creating graphic designs, and supporting a range of communication needs. The Invasive Species Council of BC works with people in B.C. and partners across the province to address invasive species issues and promote stewardship of the lands, waters and communities. Invasive species impact individuals, communities, and economic sectors like agriculture and forestry. In this role, you will work on diverse ISCBC programs designed to support different people, businesses, organizations, and governments affected by or working on invasive species issues.
