As a Communications Consultant Senior, you'll partner closely with organizational leaders to develop communication strategies that strengthen engagement, support key initiatives, and elevate our brand. This onsite role at St Agnes Hospital in the Fond du Lac area is ideal for a seasoned communications professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and excels at crafting compelling messages for internal and external audiences. You'll serve as a trusted advisor on communication strategy, media relations, executive messaging, and stakeholder engagement while helping shape how our organization tells its story. Job Summary: Provides consultation regarding the design, communication, and implementation of communication and media plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five years’ experience
  • Proven experience in communications strategy, public relations, and media relations
  • Demonstrated success managing communication campaigns and high-profile projects
  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
  • Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and authors communication materials for internal and external distribution
  • Interviews internal resources, collects relevant information and develops material for media releases and communication sessions
  • Serves as a resource to internal staff on how best to position and deliver internal and external communications
  • Schedules and follows up on the timely release of communications and media information
  • Tracks results of media related activity and reports success
  • Assists in the development of strategic communication messaging by working with leadership across the ministries
  • Performs other duties as assigned
