The Alzheimer Society's vision is a world without Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. Our mission is to alleviate the personal and social consequences of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias and to promote research. Our Values: Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, Excellence. At the Alzheimer Society of Canada (ASC), we are in an exciting time of growth, working with our Federation partners to advocate for meaningful systems change and support. Join us as we work to make dementia a national priority. Internally known as the Communications Advisor, Evidence & Impact, this position plays a key role in helping ASC communicate its research, advocacy, and impact in ways that are clear, compelling, and audience-focused. This is an opportunity to contribute to work that is both meaningful and evolving. As research advances and new treatments emerge, ASC is continuing to build and strengthen how it communicates research and evidence-informed advocacy nationally. Reporting to the Director, Marketing & Communications, and working closely with the Evidence & Impact team, this role helps bring forward stories, insights, and initiatives that support awareness, engagement, and understanding of ASC priorities, particularly the Alzheimer Society Research Program (ASRP) and evidence-informed advocacy work. The ASRP is a core part of the Alzheimer Society’s impact, and this role will help shape how that work is understood by audiences across Canada. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where initiative and the ability to move work forward are highly valued. You’ll help shape and deliver communications that connect with audiences while supporting campaigns, content, and integrated communications initiatives across channels.
