About The Position

This role is for a SOCIAL MEDIA & DIGITAL CONTENT ADMINISTRATOR within the Center for Transportation & Logistics (CTL). The primary focus is to lead the development and execution of CTL’s digital content and social media strategy across all divisions. This includes overseeing and growing CTL’s presence on 9 distinct platforms, tailoring content to specific audiences. The administrator will be responsible for developing, shooting, editing, scheduling, and managing social media campaigns to boost engagement and enrollment. A significant portion of the output (30-40%) will involve producing short-form and platform-specific video content. The role requires translating complex academic and research content into accessible digital storytelling, adapting content to fit the unique voice of each division while maintaining brand consistency, and collaborating with internal teams to build targeted marketing campaigns and drive social media traffic.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of five years of related social media marketing experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading social media and digital content strategy across multiple platforms, audiences, programs, or divisions
  • Demonstrated experience writing, shooting, producing, and editing social video content
  • Experience managing enterprise content across multiple stakeholders, programs, or divisions
  • Proven ability to tailor content voice, format, and messaging for different platforms and audiences
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, administrative, collaboration, interpersonal, and writing/communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively on a team
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workload
  • Proficiency in MS Office products and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Flexibility for evening and early morning events

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in relationship or program management in higher education
  • Experience with large language models or generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT)
  • Experience with project management tools
  • Experience producing short-form, platform-native video content for multiple social channels
  • Experience managing editorial calendars and enterprise-level content across multiple divisions or brands
