Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Demonstrated ability to perform sourcing functions and processes independently with minimal oversight from department leaders
- Demonstrated ability to lead procurement projects with significant scopes and value, including cross functional team management and project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work to meet the needs of internal clients
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with peers, internal customers, and suppliers
- Demonstrated ability to identify and capture process improvement and cost reduction opportunities
- Organization and preparation skills to lead complex negotiations with suppliers

Responsibilities
- Procurement of all materials and services within assigned commodity group(s), utilizing a variety of tools including eProcurement tools.
- Establish and apply a wide range of sourcing strategies to assigned commodity groups.
- Work with clients to establish priorities and manage demand
- Establish and manage existing contracts with suppliers
- Qualify suppliers
- Track supplier performance
- Prepare and lead negotiations with suppliers
- Manage supplier transitions as part of contract implementation
- Participate in cross-functional procurement teams
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Drive continuous improvement as part of contract management process
- Actively seek and utilize minority-, women-, service disabled-, veteran-owned and small businesses to support and achieve corporate goals
