About The Position
Intertek is searching for an Inspector 2 (Casual Part-Time - Union) to join our Agri team in our Burnaby, BC office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career! The Inspector 2 is responsible for attending Vessel loading of various commodities to obtain a representative sample according to accepted industry standards, performing Moisture, Protein, Falling Number and DON testing as per acceptable industry methods, dividing samples, making up composite samples for retention and completing required paperwork. The role also involves communicating and collaborating with the terminal shipping department and properly utilizing and maintaining all PPE.
Requirements
- Communication, literacy and numeracy skills in English
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work shift work
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Inspection and Testing industry an asset
Responsibilities
