About The Position

Seeking a dynamic leader with strong quantitative credentials who can partner with business leadership beyond traditional modeling. This role involves leading a ~35-person global quantitative team across Oil, Power, Base and Precious Metals. The primary location is NYC, with Houston as a secondary option.

Requirements

  • Proven leader with a strong quantitative background and deep experience in commodities pricing and modeling.
  • Ability to operate effectively at the intersection of business, technology, and data strategy.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving large-scale change and influencing senior stakeholders across Sales, Trading, and Structuring.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive an integrated data strategy (fundamental, market/technical, and management data) to generate actionable insights and optimize business resource allocation.
  • Set priorities and oversee project execution for Technology teams supporting the Commodities business.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Trading to redesign and enhance front-office workflows.
  • Identify and deploy GenAI / agentic solutions to modernize legacy processes and reimagine core business workflows.
