As a Commodities Procurement Analyst, you’ll play a key role in helping WK Kellogg navigate dynamic commodity markets while supporting sourcing strategies that drive value, supply continuity, and business performance. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience in procurement, sourcing, commodities, supply chain, finance, or another analytical business function.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate market trends, financial impacts, supplier information, and operational risks.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear business recommendations.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience supporting strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, commodity analysis, supply assurance, contract execution, or related activities.
  • Experience with RFQ/RFP processes and supplier evaluation.
  • Knowledge of commodity markets, including agricultural commodities, ingredients, grains, sugars, oils, or related categories.
  • Experience supporting cost analysis, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, food, consumer packaged goods, or supply chain environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor commodity markets and develop actionable insights related to supply, demand, weather, trade flows, pricing trends, and other key market drivers.
  • Translate market intelligence into recommendations that support sourcing strategies, supplier discussions, budgeting, forecasting, and leadership decision-making.
  • Support financial planning activities, including budget development, forecast updates, cause-of-change reporting, and risk and opportunity analysis.
  • Partner with category leaders to analyze supplier pricing, market trends, contract coverage, and business impacts.
  • Support RFQ and RFP processes, including gathering requirements, coordinating inputs, evaluating supplier proposals, and developing recommendations.
  • Manage assigned specialty ingredient categories, including oils and specialty sweeteners, supporting sourcing execution, supplier relationships, and contract implementation.
  • Identify supply risks and partner with suppliers, planners, plants, and procurement teams to support supply continuity and business resilience.
  • Assist with supplier performance reviews, contract management activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop analyses and reporting that help drive informed sourcing and procurement decisions across the business.
