About The Position
Join Guardian Angel Senior Services as a Full-Time Committed Caregiver, where you will make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors in the MetroWest area of Massachusetts (Marlborough, Framingham, Natick, Wayland, Sudbury, Hudson, Northborough, Westborough, Southborough, Ashland, Hopkinton, Holliston, Sherborn) As a Full-Time Committed Caregiver with Guardian Angel Senior Services, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors. In this hands-on position, you will assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), which includes laundry, ironing clothes, and changing linens to maintain a clean and comfortable environment. You'll prepare basic meals and provide medication reminders or assistance with pre-dosed medication, ensuring their health needs are met. Additionally, your responsibilities will involve running errands such as grocery shopping and performing light housekeeping tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, and emptying trash. Your support with mobility and personal hygiene, along with providing companionship, will help foster meaningful connections and improve the overall well-being of the clients in your care.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license is a must, as you will be traveling to various homes across the MetroWest area
- Comfortable working in homes with cats and dogs
- Open to working with clients who may be smokers
- Willing to pick up shifts across MetroWest locations
- Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week
- HHA Certification is preferred. If not certified must be willing to complete company-provided training
- Strong communication Skills
