About The Position

We’re partnering with a well-established, highly respected real estate brokerage in the Naples market to identify a Commissions Accountant. This is a high-impact role supporting a network of 800 residential agents—ideal for someone who has direct experience calculating and processing real estate commissions and wants to take full ownership of the function. The role involves owning the full commission lifecycle from contract to disbursement, processing high-volume commissions tied to residential real estate closings, reviewing and interpreting Closing Disclosures (CDs) and ALTA statements, calculating and validating complex commission structures, reconciling payouts, and serving as a liaison between agents, title companies, and internal teams. The position also requires maintaining audit-ready records, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and supporting reporting, transaction tracking, and workflow improvements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience processing commissions in a real estate brokerage or title company
  • Proven ability to handle high-volume agent commissions (residential preferred)
  • Strong accounting background (degree preferred, not required)
  • Experience with QuickBooks
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
  • Local to Naples, FL

Responsibilities

  • Own the full commission lifecycle from contract to disbursement
  • Process high-volume commissions tied to residential real estate closings
  • Review and interpret Closing Disclosures (CDs) and ALTA statements
  • Calculate and validate complex commission structures (splits, caps, referrals, team agreements)
  • Reconcile payouts and ensure accuracy within accounting systems (QuickBooks or similar)
  • Serve as liaison between agents, title companies, and internal teams
  • Maintain audit-ready records and ensure timely, accurate payments
  • Support reporting, transaction tracking, and workflow improvements
