About The Position

We're looking for an experienced Commissioning Specialist to lead and perform commissioning activities across new construction, renovations, existing building commissioning, and asset management projects. You'll work directly with project stakeholders and contractors to deliver safe, functional environments that meet design requirements — with a focus on operational performance and efficiency. This role involves both office and on-site activities with up to 50% travel, including multi-week field assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent years of experience
• 10+ years of progressive commissioning experience across utility infrastructure, electrical power systems, low voltage systems, life safety systems, and facility O&M
• Working knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, and TAB process mechanical testing and code requirements
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to travel up to 50% including multi-week field assignments and potential long-term assignments

Nice To Haves

• Mission Critical (data center / healthcare) commissioning experience
• Leadership experience with L4/L5 testing
• Industry-recognized commissioning certification (CxA, BCxP, or similar)

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform all commissioning activities including QA/QC and Functional Performance testing
• Support equipment and systems start-up to ensure safe, fully functional environments
• Commission new construction, renovation, and existing building projects as well as asset management work
• Work directly with clients, project stakeholders, and contractors to achieve the best outcome for the owner
• Ensure all work meets established design requirements and stakeholder expectations
• Participate in both on-site field activities and office-based project support
