About The Position

A Commissioning Project Engineer supports the delivery of data center capacity through managing project milestone auditing, calibration, and commissioning execution for new construction and Capital Improvement Projects (CIPP). This role involves a mix of administrative and technical duties within a data center environment and on construction sites. The engineer will lead and participate in meetings with various stakeholders including contractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or 1+ years of relevant discipline work experience
  • Experience in vendor management
  • Experience in a data center or other critical environment
  • Experience in data center engineering or operations

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of construction or project management experience
  • Electrical or mechanical Journeyman License
  • Operating engineering license such as DC II, DC III, or equivalent
  • Experience in construction or project management

Responsibilities

  • Manage project milestone auditing and calibration with partner teams
  • Create and maintain Procore tooling for project setup and tracking
  • Develop and implement Modeled Change Management (MCM)
  • Manage commissioning vendor (CxA) relationships and deliverables
  • Track and report project metrics and observations
  • Create Scope of Work (SOW) documents
  • Support commissioning execution for Phase 1 and Follow-on Room (FOR) projects
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across data center regions
