The Commissioning Manager is responsible for commissioning projects and recommissioning systems and sites to meet Hospital goals. This role involves developing and implementing commissioning protocols and standards for existing and new facilities, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, and control systems. The manager will coordinate plans with Engineering leadership and relevant Maintenance and Construction teams, survey physical and digital systems to identify recommissioning priorities, and work with outside commissioning agents on large projects. Communication with team members, project consultants, vendors, and contractors is essential to ensure compliance with contract and project expectations. The role also includes reviewing project drawings and specifications for compliance with engineering project intent and institutional goals, maintaining Quality Control on department information, and ensuring compliance with Hospital Facilities standards and site conditions.
